Can you recommend ways to include more fibre and magnesium-rich foods in my meals?Updated 5 hours ago

Absolutely! Fibre helps support our overall wellbeing, including healthy bowel movements, something that’s helpful for bladder health. When the bowel is overly full, it can press on the bladder, making you feel like you need the toilet.

Try including more fibre-rich foods like whole grains (oats, barley, rye), potatoes, beans, lentils, seeds, leafy greens, artichokes and raspberries to your meals.

Magnesium is also helpful, and pumpkin seeds are a great source. Just 28g (about one ounce) of pumpkin seeds gives you 168 mg of magnesium which is around 40% of your recommended daily intake. Try sprinkling them on salads, stir-fries, yoghurt, overnight oats or porridge to boost your intake.
